Welcome To My Site!!
Thanks so much for coming to my site!! I'm glad you've come to see about Amanda and how she's doing! I'll post the lastest updates and pictures too!! You can also learn information about Amanda that maybe you didn't know before, and I will update her ranking every week either on Sunday night or Monday. There are also lots of cool links to sites about Amanda! Look around, and ENJOY!!

U.S. Open
Amanda is seeded number 14. Amanda will face Gabriela Lastra in the first round, and if she wins, she plays either Janette Husarova or Barbara Schett in the second round.
The third round is where it gets bad for Amanda.
She plays the winner out of these matches...
Nadia Petrova (19) VS Qualifier
Denisa Chladkova VS Qualifer
The winners of those two matches will face off in a 2nd round match to play Amanda if Amanda gets to the 3rd Round. If you remember from the Acura Classic, Amanda got beat pretty bad by Petrova, so hopefully Petrova will lose, or be VERY off when she has to play Amanda!!
Amanda has defeated Gabriela Lastra 6-0, 6-2! Amanda must have really been on fire!! Hopefully she can keep it up!! She will play Barbara Schett probably on Wednesday! GOOD LUCK AMANDA!!
Amanda defeated Barabra Schett in an amazing 3 set match, 3-6, 7-5, 6-2! CONGRATS AMANDA!! She will be playing Nadia Petrova tomorrow, first up on 'Grandstand'!! GOOD LUCK AMANDA!!
Amanda was defeated by Nadia Petrova sadly... 6-0, 6-1. I feel bad for Amanda... nice try though. :-) GOOD LUCK NEXT TIME AMANDA! |
Kremlin Cup
Amanda is playing 7th seed Vera Zvonareva tomorrow. They are the 1st night match! I hope Amanda does well especially since it's her first week back from the U.S. Open.

Rogers AT&T Cup
Amanda is seeded #7 at the Rogers AT&T Cup, and will receive a 1st round 'bye'. She will play either Shinobu Asagoe or Saori Obata in the second round, depending on who wins. Hopefully Amanda can get some wins again this week! GOOD LUCK AMANDA!
Saori Obata will be Amanda's 2nd round opponent after Obata defeated Asagoe 7-5, 6-4. They are playing on court 1 on Tuesday not before 3:30! GOOD LUCK AMANDA!!
Amanda has defeated Saori Obata 7-6(1), 6-4! It was a tough match, but Amanda came through in the end! :-) She plays the winner of Elena Bovina and Cara Black. Hopefully Amanda can be successful against either of them as well! GOOD LUCK AMANDA!
Amanda played Elena Bovina and lost 2-6, 1-6! :-(
Better luck next time Amanda! Amanda will be taking a week off next week, but then will be playing US Open the following week! GOOD LUCK AMANDA!
JP Morgan Chase
Amanda is seeded 8th this week in LA and received a first round bye. She plays Aranxta Parra who beat Angela Haynes 6-1, 6-4. GOOD LUCK AMANDA!
Amanda has defeated Aranxta Parra 6-1, 6-1!! Go Amanda!
Hopefully this will help her confidence level!! :-)
Amanda plays Meghann Shaughnessy next! GOOD LUCK AMANDA!
Amanda has defeated Meghann Shaughnessy 7-6(5), 6-3!
She must have played really well because Meghann is not a shabby player! Amanda has an even tougher match in the quarters though... Lindsay Davenport. Hopefully Amanda can pull another victory!! GOOD LUCK AMANDA!
Amanda has lost to Lindsay Davenport 2-6, 4-6. At least she one a few matches here to get her off that losing streak she's been on lately. She will be playing next week in Toronto at the Rogers AT&T Cup. I'll post her 1st opponent as soon as possible! GOOD LUCK AMANDA! |
